When my good friend asked me if he had ever mentioned The Light Blaster I
immediately knew that something big is going down. And so it
happened. After just a dozen emails and few days I held a piece of
hardware that officially did not exist.

Change The View
When you look through your dslr viewfinder what you see? Some of you see nothing (mostly because cap is on) and some of you see what normally you don't wanna see (like cats and other too cute stuff for pros like us) But what to do when you wear SquarePants that don't fit your viewfinder and your pocket is empty to buy hassel or other real heavy mens pulling muscle medium 6by6 only right format camera. I can't help you with that but i can help you to see your world in right way and by that i don't wanna narcotize you or by sending you to Specsavers. I wanna work with you around your dslr viewfinder. Be warned you need more like basic skills to do this mod, when you are not comfortable with that simple don't do it. If you still want to do this, find a clean, well-lit dust-free place and let's get started:

How to give old Nifty- Fifty new life
This post was made specially for the contest How I Took It.
A lot of us making a tilt lens for our dslr thought about using the medium format lens but not many people know the full frame lenses will give the trick too. I mod the lenses already for some time and so far I'm not bored with it. Why I use full frame lenses? - simple because of the bokeh - at apertures lower than 2.8 is just incredibly delicious and I can not stop myself from shooting with this modified lenses. Check my pictorial how I transfom my old and lovely Pentacon 50mm f1.8 to a rubbery, tilty piece of glass.

Gloomy, cloudy, rainy.
Why I do what I do? Why can not I do what Others are doing? Why I get wet in the rain? Why I freeze in the cold wind? Why I not get paid for it? Why Am I always late? There are many why, but only one answer - That 's why ;

DiyTilt lens on full frame camera
I made a small test of my 50mm diyTilt lens. How it behaves on the full frame camera. It was not easy - rear lens element was too close to the mirror of what could cause blockage of the mirror or in the worst case, threaten damage. I always say, measure the distance from the mirror to lens mount and always keep that in mind, for APS-C you have much more space to work on the FF is not so much. I will not give you any measurements because if you're trying to do lens as my you need to know what you're doing if you are unsure do not do it. Anyway after a small processing with precise dremel tool i managed to mount the diyTilt lens on 5dMk2 and the are effects of my tests.
